Our environment has a major effect on our health; everyday stress and poor eating habits greatly contribute to various health problems. If we can identify the root causes of our problems and adopt a more natural way of life, we have the potential to improve and even reverse many health conditions.
My approach to nutrition involves a nutrient-dense, low-carbohydrate or ketogenic diet based on whole, palolithic foods. I prioritise local, seasonal and organic foods whenever possible.
It is not surprising that many people are confused about much of the conflicting information available about nutrition. How can one avoid the pitfalls?
My job is to stay up-to-date on nutritional science and to use an evidence-based approach to help people find their way back to health. I take into account the quality, quantity, and frequency of eating because all three are equally important.
In addition to offering nutrition advice, I also recommend lifestyle changes (exercise, sleep, stress management) to help my patients achieve the best version of themselves.
